Defending Tri Nations champions South Africa came into the
match knowing that a win would see them replace the All Blacks at
the top of the rankings, but the home team scored four tries to
none as their margin of victory increased their cushion over South
Africa to 3.66 rating points.
Kenya move up three
Kenya retained their 100% record in the 2010 Victoria Cup
with a 21-5 win over Uganda at the RFUEA Grounds in Nairobi and
also moved up three places to 35th in the IRB World Rankings.
Nato Simiyu scored two first-half tries for Kenya in front of
4,000 fans. Uganda's only score came from Bishop Onen, a try
sandwiched between Simiyu's efforts.
