Introduction:
Situated 40 minutes by train to the west of central Tokyo, Tokyo Stadium will host some of Rugby World Cup’s biggest matches, including the opening ceremony and the match that kicks it all off on 20 September when host nation Japan takes on Russia. Tokyo Stadium is a regular venue for Top League, Japan’s premier club rugby competition and will also play host to the Olympic Rugby Sevens at Tokyo 2020.
