“Find Ovals and Post Them Online! 500 DAYS TO GO Campaign” (the “Campaign”) begins on Thursday, 26 April 2018 Japan standard time (“JST”) and ends on Sunday, 20 May 2018 at 23:59 JST.

  1. How to Enter this Campaign

Post on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram using hashtags “#500DTG” and “#FindRugby” with photos or videos of an ‘oval-shaped’ object, along with a few words on what you look forward to in Rugby World Cup 2019.

  • You may post as many times as you like but please understand in advance that each person has only ONE chance to win any of the prizes mentioned in 3. above.
  • Make sure your privacy setting for your posts are set to public before making any posts to Facebook with the designated hashtag. If your posts are not set to public, you will not be eligible for this Campaign.
  • Make sure your Twitter and/or Instagram account is public before making any posts with the designated hashtag. If your account is set to private, you will not be eligible for this Campaign.

  1. Prize Drawing and Winner Announcement
  • Winners will be drawn in a fair random draw after the submission period closes.
  • As winners will be notified via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram direct message to the account used to enter the Campaign, please make sure that you follow the Rugby World Cup 2019 official social media accounts.
  • Winners will be notified within 10 days of the end of the submission period via a direct message from the official Rugby World Cup 2019 social media accounts. The winner will be sent a link to fill in a form regarding delivery information. All winners must fill in and submit the form within 7 days of receipt of the message to officially claim the prize. Unclaimed prizes after this period will be forfeited.
  • We will not be responding to any questions regarding the submission methods and the winner selection process.


  1. Prize Delivery
  • The winners shall be separately notified about the specific timings for the actual delivery of tickets at a later date.
  • With the exception of match tickets, all of the prizes mentioned above are scheduled for delivery before the end of June 2018; depending on circumstances, however, please understand that this may be subject to change.
  • Winners will not be able to specify the prize, delivery method nor the delivery company.
  • Please be reminded that the winners may be subsequently requested to take photos/videos with the prizes won for possible publications on the official SNS account of Rugby World Cup 2019™.


  1. Important Notes
  • Entrants must agree to the Rugby World Cup 2019 Organising Committee (the “Organising Committee”) Privacy Policy: and the Campaign Official Rules. You will not be able to participate in the Campaign if you do not agree to the Privacy Policy and the Official Rules. By participating in this Campaign you are agreeing to the Privacy Policy and the Official Rules.
  • This Campaign is organised by the Rugby World Cup 2019 Organising Committee and is administered by the Campaign offices (the “Office”). The Office reserves the right to modify the Campaign or take any other necessary measures at any time without notice if, in the Office’s sole discretion, any factors could interfere with the proper administration of the Campaign.
  • Entrants must abide by the rules set out by the Office and shall not object to the way that the Campaign is run.
  • We will not take any responsibility for copyright infringement, intellectual property rights of subjects or portrait rights. It will be the responsibility of the entrant to resolve any disputes with a third party and entrants are responsible for covering any fees that arise from such disputes.
  • We will not be responding to any questions regarding the submission methods and the winner selection process.
  • Depending on the operating system on your computer or on the smart phone that you are using, you may not be able to participate in this Campaign.
  • Entrants are responsible for covering internet or communications fees that are incurred as a result of participating in this Campaign at their own cost.
  • Prizes cannot be returned or exchanged due to personal reasons of the entrant.
  • A single entrant can only be drawn once and cannot be drawn multiple times.
  • Members of RWC Organising Committee are allowed to take part in this Campaign but will not be eligible to win a prize.
  • Prizes or any associated rights cannot be transferred to a third party (regardless of whether it is at a cost or at no cost).
  • In using the tickets awarded through this Campaign to see a Rugby World Cup 2019 match, the ticketing terms and conditions for the Tournament shall apply (please refer to

Therefore, each and every winner is requested to carefully read the above ticketing terms and conditions in advance.  All winners shall be deemed to have consented to fully comply with the above ticketing terms and conditions by their very act of accepting the awarded tickets.

  • The Organising Committee reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual at any point in the Campaign period without prior notice who violates the Official Rules of the Campaign, violates the Terms of Use of the respective social media platforms and engages in illegal or unauthorized use of social media platforms (creation of fake accounts, impersonation, creation of multiple accounts, etc.), or engages in any acts that are deemed as inappropriate.
  • Any person who may be a resident in a jurisdiction where participating in this Campaign constitutes a violation of applicable laws and regulations shall be advised not to apply; accordingly, any person who applies shall be expected to guarantee that his/her decision to take part in this Campaign has been permitted by law.


  1. Use of Personal Information

Any personal information provided by individuals participating in this Campaign shall be used strictly for the relevant administrative purposes (e.g., for contacting the winners and delivering the prizes) in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy


  1. Limitation of Liabilities

If a dispute is to arise between the entrant and a third party, the entrant will be responsible for resolving such disputes and covering any fees related to the dispute. The Organising Committee will not be held responsible for any disputes involving the entrant and the third party.


  1. Indemnity

The Organising Committee have no liability for and shall not be held responsible by entrants and third parties against, any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind (including but not limited to any losses or damages arising from server disruptions) resulting from the participation in this Campaign. The Organising Committee will have no liability for and shall not be held responsible for any losses or damages arising as a result of the actions taken by the Organising Committee, such as blocking the account of the entrant, in response to any violations of Official Rules by entrants. Finally, under no circumstances shall Rugby World Cup Limited, World Rugby, or any of the interested parties of these organisations have any liability for, or be held responsible in connection with, this Campaign.


  1. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This Campaign is governed by the law of Japan. Each entrant agrees that any judicial proceedings arising out of or in connection with the Campaign shall take place in the Tokyo District Court.
