Hokkaido Prefecture

Surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, the Sea of Japan and the Sea of Okhotsk, Hokkaido is made up of magnificent mountain ranges that changes with the seasons, vast wetlands and ever-mesmerising natural lakes. The temperature is on the cooler side and humidity is lower in Hokkaido. This area is not affected much by the rainy season or typhoons. Hokkaido is aiming to become the link between the northern area and the Asia-Pacific.
