Oita City

Located on the eastern point of the Kyushu area, the city of a population of 480,000 has long been involved in international exchange with the West. Blessed with oceans, mountains and hot springs, Oita City has a lot to offer including, delicious food such as the local brand of horse mackerel and mackerel, Mount Takasaki where wild monkeys roam around, and one of the few Noh theatres in Japan.
