Miyazaki Prefecture

Miyazaki Prefecture preserves much of their traditional festivals and the folk performing arts such as the Yokagura traditional dance performance. Miyazaki is also a treasure trove of mouth-watering food, such as Miyazaki beef (three time champion of the National Competitive Exhibition of Wagyu, winning the Prime Minister’s award three times in a row), local breed of chicken, mango, caviar, shochu and much more.
