TOKYO, 28 Sep - Four years on from 'The Brighton Miracle', Japan have done it again.
In 2015 it was South Africa on the receiving end of a huge Rugby World Cup shock, and this time in Shizuoka it was Ireland who were made to suffer.
It was a result that stunned the world, and this is what some of the sport's biggest names had to say about it...
Well that certainly didn’t go to plan. Now need 10 points from the final two pool matches and see what way the chips fall. Very disappointing after the first up performance but massive congrats to an excellent Japan.— Brian O'Driscoll (@BrianODriscoll) September 28, 2019

Omg What have we just witnessed from @JRFURugby 👏 An absolute joy to watch them. 12-3 down to a fine @IrishRugby side!! I think the miracle of Brighton 2015 now has a Blockbuster sequel 🎥 pic.twitter.com/tCAq2rr430— Lawrence Dallaglio (@dallaglio8) September 28, 2019
