Science Central, Newcastle

Newcastle is a city with sport at its heart, so what better way to enjoy the game than to build a mini pitch in the city? Half the size of a full pitch, this state-of-the-art 3G pitch offered players, fans and spectators the opportunity to give touch, tag and pitch-up-and-play a go. A 4,000 capacity marquee provided a weather-proof area for fans to congregate and watch a selection of matches on the big screens. Fans also enjoyed bespoke events such as the amazing Oyster Festival as part of a fun packed programme of events.
