Independent disciplinary process: Billy Bohan (Ireland) and Andro Dvali (Georgia)

World Rugby can confirm that Billy Bohan (Ireland) and Andro Dvali (Georgia) will have their cases heard by an Independent Foul Play Review Committee (FPRC) on Thursday, 10 July, 2025.

World Rugby can confirm that the following players will have their cases heard by an Independent Foul Play Review Committee (FPRC) on Thursday, 10 July, 2025.

  • Ireland #17, Billy Bohan, dangerous clearout pursuant to Law 9.20(a)
  • Georgia #7, Andro Dvali, dangerous clearout pursuant to Law 9.20(a)

Ireland’s Billy Bohan and Georgia’s Andro Dvali were both issued with red cards during their matches against New Zealand and Italy respectively, in the World Rugby U20 Championship 2025 on Wednesday, 9 July.

As part of the expedited off-field sanction process in operation for the World Rugby U20 Championship, the citing window is limited to 12 hours following the final whistle. The FPRC will ordinarily convene after each match day to review red card incidents and citing. All full disciplinary hearings will typically be conducted ordinarily by the Tuesday following the relevant match.
