Four unbeaten teams to do battle as semi-finals are confirmed

The semi-finals will see four unbeaten teams do battle for a place at a sold-out final of Rugby World Cup 2025

New Zealand v Canada - Friday, 19 September (19:00)

Six time champions New Zealand beat South Africa in Exeter on Saturday to book their place in the semi-finals, where they will take on a Canadian team looking for their first Rugby World Cup title.

Canada impressed in their quarter-final against Australia, and will be hoping to continue that form at Ashton Gate on Friday, 19 September.

Canada are ranked second in the world and the Black Ferns are third, so expect fireworks in Bristol when these two juggernauts meet!

France v England - Saturday, 20 September (15:30)

England are the only team in history to take part in every one of the Women's Rugby World Cup semi-finals over the years, and they kept that streak alive with a solid win over Scotland in Bristol on Sunday.

They will take on France at Ashton Gate on Saturday, 20 September, in front of a crowd that is likely to eclipse the 25,292 that packed in for their quarter-final.

These teams met in their respective final games ahead of this tournament, with England running out 40-6 winners, so there will almost certainly be a response from a French team still hurting from that result.
