Rugby Championship 2025 updated Emirates World Rugby Match Official appointments

World Rugby has confirmed changes to the Emirates Match Official appointments for the remaining two rounds of The Rugby Championship 2025.

World Rugby has confirmed changes to the Emirates Match Official appointments for the remaining two rounds of The Rugby Championship 2025.

For this weekend’s South Africa v Argentina match in Durban, Gianluca Gnecchi (Italy) will replace Damon Murphy (Australia) as Foul Play Review Officer.

Karl Dickson (England) will now act as assistant referee for Australia v New Zealand in Perth on 4 October, replacing Pierre Brousset (France).

Eoghan Cross (Ireland), meanwhile, replaces Christophe Ridley (England) as assistant referee for Argentina v South Africa in London for his first appointment in The Rugby Championship.

The updated appointments in full are:
