World Rugby can confirm that Tom Bowen will have his case heard by an Independent Foul Play Review Committee (FPRC) on Sunday, 28 June, following his red card against Georgia in the World Rugby Junior World Championship 2026.

World Rugby can confirm that the following player will have their case heard by an Independent Foul Play Review Committee (FPRC) on Sunday, 28 June.

  • Wales #11, Tom Bowen, red card for an accumulation of two yellow cards (high tackle Law 9.13 and repeated team offending Law 9.10)

Wales’ Tom Bowen was issued the red card during their match against Georgia in the World Rugby Junior World Championship 2026 on Saturday, 27 June.

As part of the expedited off-field sanction process in operation for the World Rugby Junior World Championship, the citing window is limited to 12 hours following the final whistle. The FPRC will ordinarily convene after each match day to review red card incidents and citing. All full disciplinary hearings will typically be conducted ordinarily within 48 hours following the relevant match.
