Tickets for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 are available during the Visa Priority Sale.

Closes: Wednesday, 30 September, 2026, 12:00pm AEST (UTC+10) / 02:00 UTC

Remaining tickets from the Visa Priority Sale will go on sale from Thursday, 1 October, 2026, 12:00pm AEST (UTC+10) / 02:00 UTC.

We recommend creating a ticketing account before 28 September, 2026 for a faster checkout experience when tickets go on sale. Create and activate your RWC 2027 Ticketing Account at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com.

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS IN THE VISA PRIORITY SALE?

The Visa Priority Sale is a live sale, with tickets sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

You must use an eligible Visa card to purchase tickets and products during the Visa Priority Sale. Additional eligibility criteria and purchase restrictions apply. See Visa Priority Sale Terms and Conditions.

To help everything run smoothly, you’ll enter an online queue before accessing the ticketing site. 

The virtual queue is designed to manage periods of exceptionally high demand and ensure fans can access the ticketing platform in a fair, secure and reliable way. While waiting times may be longer during peak periods, this is a normal and expected part of managing significant demand.

Once you’ve reached the front of the queue, you’ll enter the site and have 30 minutes to complete your purchase.

I DON'T HAVE A VISA CARD, CAN I STILL BUY RWC 2027 TICKETS?

Yes, following the Visa Priority Sale, remaining tickets for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 will go on sale from 12:00pm AEST 1 October, 2026.

As with the Visa Priority Sale, you will need to have created and activated your RWC 2027 Ticketing Account at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com to purchase tickets.

HOW MUCH WILL TICKETS COST?

Ticket prices will vary by match and seat location. Fans will be able to see the full range of available ticket options when purchasing and can decide which tickets represent the best value for them. The price displayed when you add tickets to your basket is the price payable for that transaction. 

There are no booking or handling fees for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 tickets. Just keep in mind your bank or card provider may charge a foreign transaction fee if there's a currency conversion. 

With tickets starting from AUD $40 for adults and AUD $20 for children, the tournament has been designed to be accessible to fans of all budgets with a broad range of ticket options on offer.

HOW MANY TICKETS CAN I BUY?

During the Visa Priority Sale, you’ll be able to buy up to ten (10) tickets for most matches. For some matches, including Australia’s pool matches, the semi-finals and final, the limit is six (6) tickets per purchaser to help keep access fair for everyone. WILL THERE BE CHILD TICKETS AVAILABLE?

Bringing the children along? Great news - families are absolutely welcome at Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027.

Here’s how it works: 

Children aged 3 to 15 (inclusive) as at the date of the match can access child tickets. Child tickets must be purchased together with at least one adult ticket.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
Children aged 2 or under can enter for free without a ticket, provided they don’t occupy a seat and are accompanied by a ticketed adult.
Availability of child tickets varies by match.
No child tickets are available for the semi-finals or the final.

WHEN WILL WE KNOW OUR SEAT DETAILS FROM PRESALE OR APPLICATION PHASE TICKET PURCHASES? CAN I BOOK NEXT TO MY EXISTING TICKETS?

Seat allocations for tickets purchased in the Men's Rugby World Cup 2027 Presale or Application Phase can be viewed in your ticketing account prior to the Visa Priority Sale.

It cannot be guaranteed that additional tickets purchased for the same match will be grouped with your existing tickets. An interactive seat map will be available during the ticket purchase process, allowing you to select your preferred seats, subject to availability.

Tickets purchased in separate accounts will not be seated together. So, if you’re planning to attend with friends or family, the only way to ensure you’re seated together is to buy your tickets in one order under a single account.

Tickets must be purchased exclusively via the RWC 2027 Official Ticketing Website, Rugby World Cup Experiences, or an RWC 2027 Official Travel Agent listed here. Any tickets obtained from unauthorised sources will be considered invalid, and entry will be denied. Purchasing from unofficial sellers puts you at risk of fraud.

Top Tip 1 - Create and activate your account before the Visa Priority Sale starts.

Make sure you’ve completed these two steps: 

Create your RWC 2027 Ticketing Account at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com
Activate your account by clicking the link in the activation email from noreplyrwc2027@rugbyworldcup.com and logging in to your ticketing account.

Top Tip 2 - Get yourself “purchase ready” 

Once your ticketing account is activated, take a moment to make sure you’re ready:

Keep your log in details for your ticketing account safe and accessible 
Make sure your Visa card is valid.
If you are purchasing tickets from overseas, check whether your bank needs to be notified.
Check if you have any spending limits or pre-authorisations that might block your payment.

Top Tip 3 - Know how the queue works

A queue will be in place during the Visa Priority Sale for periods of high demand. Consider using the 'notify me when it is my turn' feature so you don’t miss your spot.

When your turn comes up, you’ll have 10 minutes to enter the site.
Once on the website, you will have 30 minutes to complete your purchase.

Top Tip 4 - You must be old enough to purchase 

To buy tickets, you need to be 18 years or older. If you're planning to purchase tickets for younger fans, that is no problem - just ensure the transaction is made by an adult.
