Four Premiership players in USA starting 15 for match against England

With eight English-based players in his match-day 23, US coach Gary Gold (RSA) will be hoping for the inside line on their Pool C opponents.

TOKYO, 23 Sep - USA coach Gary Gold has named his team for the Pool C match against England at Kobe Misaki Stadium on Thursday 26 September.

There are no major surprises, but four of the five players in USA's World Cup squad who are attached to English Premiership clubs make the starting line-up, including Sale Sharks fly-half AJ MacGinty, pictured in action against Samoa at RWC 2015. The fifth, Bryce Campbell, is on the bench.

The youngest member of the squad, 19-year-old Toulouse prop David Ainuu, starts at loose-head. He is one of 14 players in the match-day 23 who will will make their World Cup debuts, if they all feature.

Blaine Scully will captain the side from the right wing. The former Leicester Tigers back will be playing in his third World Cup.
