A TOURNAMENT WITH A POSITIVE IMPACT

Japan and Samoa national anthems will be sung prior to kick-off by the children of the Mêlée des Chœurs. This choir is composed of students from Fonsorbe school, and Stella Blandy and Louisa Paulin Muret colleges, who recorded these anthems alongside professional singers from the Maîtrise Populaire of the Opéra-Comique.

This match will remain an unforgettable memory for 20 isolated seniors who are members of the French charity "Petits Frères des Pauvres". Through this initiative, France 2023 wants to enable isolated seniors to share the celebration of the tournament with others and overcome their loneliness.
