PROMAN becomes Rugby World Cup France 2023 Official Recruiter

A major player in human resources, PROMAN has become a Rugby World Cup France 2023 Official Sponsor. The announcement was made today in Manosque, where the company was founded in 1990.

PROMAN is a family business with a human dimension, which puts values of solidarity and proximity at the heart of its priorities. PROMAN shares Rugby World Cup France 2023’s ambitions: to have a positive impact everywhere in France.

PROMAN’s values are a perfect match for Rugby World Cup 2023, which will be an event for all France, accessible to all regions and communities via ten host cities and seven host regions (80 per cent of the population will be less than two hours away from a match venue).

The company is the leading independent French actor and ranked fourth in Europe in the field of temporary work and human resources.

With its powerful network of 400 agencies located throughout the country, and particularly in the ten host cities (Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Paris, Saint-Denis, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse), PROMAN is committed to playing its role in ensuring Rugby World Cup France 2023 a major contributor in training and employment.

By becoming the Official Recruiter, PROMAN will take part in the recruitment of volunteers, as well as the tournament’s temporary workforce, who will contribute to Rugby World Cup France 2023’s operational success.

PROMAN will also be involved in France 2023’s CAMPUS 2023 project, the ground-breaking Apprentice Programme that will educate and prepare France’s future sports administrative experts. In total, more than 2,023 apprentices will be hired across the country by the France 2023 Organising Committee. They will benefit from first-hand experience organising a major international event to build expertise in the sporting field.

PROMAN will also benefit from international exposure and bespoke marketing and activation campaigns. The PROMAN brand will be present in the nine host venues across the 48 matches of the six-week tournament.

After partnering with two world-renowned competitions (UEFA Euro 2016, FIFA Women's World Cup France 2019), PROMAN is excited to continue its commitment towards major international competitions by becoming an official sponsor of Rugby World Cup 2023 France.

Claude ATCHER (Rugby World Cup France 2023 Managing Director): “A French success story, PROMAN has established itself as a major European player in recruitment. Faithful to Manosque and still owned by the founding family, the company embodies the territorial anchoring and investment in people that are at the centre of Rugby World Cup France 2023’s project. I would like to thank Roland Gomez for his trust and commitment. With PROMAN, we find the best ally to support us on recruitment, inclusion, training programmes and youth support, which are all at the heart of the Organising Committee’s commitments.”

Roland GOMEZ (PROMAN Managing Director): “PROMAN and France 2023 is a perfect match! This event taking place in France but resonating throughout the world, conveying values of conviviality, universality, respect and excellence as well as deeply oriented on unemployed people’s inclusion is definitely made for us. Rugby World Cup France 2023 is an exceptional opportunity for PROMAN and our 2,600 employees to deploy our recruiting expertise for the benefit of this competition and this highly acclaimed sport. It will offer many employment and training opportunities to thousands of French people.”
