The millionth member of the 2023 family rewarded

Sébastien Chabal, the Webb Ellis Cup... France 2023 showed its Christmas spirit by presenting a memorable gift to Catherine, the millionth member of the 2023 Family

In the French Forez region, Catherine, a French rugby fan and mother of 4, recently joined the 2023 Family. What she was not aware of is that by joining this opened-to-all community, she became its millionth member!

To celebrate this milestone, France 2023 offered her a wonderful surprise nearby her home, in Lyon, with the help of a special guest: Sébastien Chabal, 62 caps for les Bleus and Rugby World Cup 2023 ambassador.

Catherine and her family enjoyed a memorable evening in a "bouchon", a typical local restaurant, alongside the Webb Ellis Cup, which was specially brought in for the occasion. Sébastien Chabal took this opportunity to offer this rugby-mad family a multitude of gifts (balls, berets, scarf…) as well as two tickets for the France v Italy match, scheduled in Lyon on 6 October 2023.

Catherine and her family will be able to experience RWC 2023 as close to home as possible.  You can too join the 2023 Family and enjoy memorable moments as the competition draws closer and closer!
