Application Phase FAQ'sWhat is the ticket Application Phase? The ticket Application Phase is a two-week window that allows fans to apply for tickets to all 52 matches and price categories. Fans may apply for tickets for multiple matches, provided they stay within the match ticket limits. Any tickets already purchased in previous sales phases will count towards those limits. Fans can only submit one application per account. By submitting your application, you are committing to purchase all tickets you apply for. This is not a real-time sale. The timing of your submission does not affect your chances of success in the Application Phase. Where demand exceeds availability in a price category for a match, tickets will be allocated via a ballot to ensure all fans have an equal chance. Applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application via email on Tuesday, 23 June, Successful applications will be automatically charged from Thursday, 25 June, 2026. When does the Application Phase open? The ticket Application Phase opens and closes on the following dates: Application Phase dates: Applications can be submitted at any time during this window. How does the ticket Application Phase work? The ticket Application Phase runs for two weeks and gives fans the opportunity to apply for tickets to all 52 matches across the tournament. There is no advantage to applying early, all applications submitted are treated equally. If a price category for a match is oversubscribed, a ballot will be used to allocate tickets fairly. You will be asked to enter your payment card details, but you won’t be charged unless your application is successful. By submitting your application, you are committing to purchase all tickets you apply for. All applicants will receive an email with the outcome of their application on Tuesday, 23 June, 2026. Payment will be processed from Thursday, 25 June using the card details you provided. Any optional ChildFund donation will only be processed if your application is successful. How does the ballot work? Where demand exceeds availability, all applications for oversubscribed price categories in a match will be entered into a ballot. Successful applications are selected at random from all eligible entries, ensuring every applicant has an equal opportunity to purchase tickets. Applicants may be allocated some, all, or none of the tickets they applied for. Opting in to All Out Advantage can increase your likelihood of securing tickets. All applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via email on 23 June. What does “All Out Advantage” mean? All Out Advantage is an optional feature during the ticket Application Phase that can increase your chances to secure tickets for Rugby World Cup Australia 2027. When selected, if your first-choice price category is oversubscribed, we may allocate you tickets one price category higher, or one price category lower for the same match, if available. When you select All Out Advantage, it applies to every match in your application. It cannot be applied to individual matches. Please note that selecting All Out Advantage may affect the final cost of your allocated tickets. All Out Advantage is not applicable to all price types and is subject to terms and conditions.
