First tickets for Rugby World Cup 2027 are available during the exclusive Presale opening Wednesday, 18 February at 12:00 AEDT and closing Wednesday, 4 March at 12:00 AEDT (subject to availability).
To take part, you’ll need to have created and activated your ticketing account at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com by 12:00 AEDT on Tuesday 17 February - and the great news is, registering is completely free!
If you miss the registration deadline or can’t join the Presale, don’t worry, the RWC 2027 Application Phase in May 2026 gives you another chance to apply for tickets. A ballot will be run for matches where demand is higher than availability.
And if you’re one of the 2,027 Superfans who bought a Superfan Pass in August 2025, be sure to check your email for details on how to access your exclusive early purchase.
AM I GUARANTEED ACCESS TO TICKETS BY REGISTERING FOR THE PRESALE?
Registering gives you the opportunity to take part in the Presale, but it doesn’t guarantee you’ll get tickets. The Presale works just like a live sale - tickets are available on a first come, first served basis and will remain on sale until they’re sold out.
To help everything run smoothly, you’ll enter an online queue before accessing the ticketing site. Once you’ve reached the front of the queue, you’ll enter the site and have 30 minutes to complete your purchase.
You can view full ticket prices online here, with all prices shown in Australian Dollars (AUD). Adult tickets start from $40 for Pool Phase matches and $65 for the Round of 16. Half-price children’s tickets start from $20 and are available for all matches except semi-finals and the final.
To keep the tournament accessible, one million tickets are priced at $100 or less.
There are no booking or handling fees for Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 tickets. Just keep in mind your bank or card provider may charge a foreign transaction fee if there's a currency conversion.
During the Presale, you’ll be able to buy up to ten (10) tickets for most matches. For the most popular matches, including Australia’s pool matches, the semi-finals and final, the limit is six (6) tickets per purchaser to help keep access fair for everyone. You can view the full breakdown of match ticket limits here.
WHERE ARE THE RWC 2027 MATCHES BEING PLAYED?

WILL THERE BE CHILD TICKETS AVAILABLE?
Bringing the children along? Great news - families are absolutely welcome at Rugby World Cup 2027, and child tickets start from just $20.
Here’s how it works:
- Children aged 3 to 15 (inclusive) as at the date of the match can access child tickets. Child tickets must be purchased together with at least one adult ticket.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or older.
- Children aged 2 or under can enter for free without a ticket, provided they don’t occupy a seat and are accompanied by a ticketed adult.
- Availability of child tickets varies by match and price category.
- No child tickets are available for the semi-finals or the final.
WHEN WILL WE KNOW OUR SEAT DETAILS ? CAN I SIT NEXT TO MY FRIENDS?
Once purchased, you'll receive an email confirming your order but actual seats for all purchased tickets will be assigned closer to the tournament.
Please note that only tickets purchased under the same ticketing account and in the same price category during the Presale and Application Phase will be seated together. Tickets purchased in separate accounts will not be sat together.
So, if you’re planning to attend with friends or family, the only way to ensure you’re seated together is to buy your tickets in one order under a single account.
TOP TIPS TO BOOST YOUR CHANCES OF GETTING TICKETS
Top Tip 1 - Create and activate your account so you're eligible to buy tickets in the Presale
The most important step! You can only join the ticket Presale if your RWC 2027 Ticketing Account is fully created and activated by 12:00 AEDT on Tuesday, 17 February 2026.
Make sure you’ve completed these two steps before the deadline:
- Create your RWC 2027 Ticketing Account at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com
- Activate it by clicking the link in the activation email from noreplyrwc2027@rugbyworldcup.com
Once you’ve activated your account, we encourage you to complete your profile so you don’t need to do it during the live sale. It only takes a few minutes and it could make all the difference on Presale day (18 February)!
Top Tip 2 - Get yourself “purchase ready”
Once your ticketing account is activated, take a moment to make sure you’re ready:
- Keep your log in details for your ticketing account safe and accessible
- Are all your account details up to date, including any accessibility requirements?
- Is your payment card valid or nearing its expiry date?
- Buying from overseas? Check whether your bank needs to be notified.
- Do you have any spending limits or pre-authorisations that might block your payment?
- Buying for friends or family? Decide exactly how many tickets you’d like to purchase.
Top Tip 3 - Know how the ticket queue works
To keep the process fair and keep the ticketing site running smoothly, a queue will be in place during the Presale.
- Consider using the 'notify me when it is my turn' feature so you don’t miss your spot
- When your turn comes up, you’ll have 10 minutes to enter the site
- Once on the website, you will have 30 minutes to complete your purchase
Top Tip 4 - You must be old enough to purchase
To buy tickets, you need to be 18 years or older. If you're planning for younger fans, no problem - just make sure the purchase is made by an adult.
WHAT ABOUT IF WE HAVE ACCESSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS?
We’re committed to making the Men’s Rugby World Cup 2027 an inclusive experience for all our fans and all venues will have accessible seating options (subject to availability). Wheelchair and Companion tickets can be selected for each match during the Presale (subject to availability).
For fans with other accessible needs, we recommend registering your accessibility requirements in your Ticketing Account under ‘Accessibility / Accessible Ticket Requirements’ before the Presale. This will help our Customer Service Team meet your needs when allocating tickets at a later date.
