Getting to Newcastle Stadium
Newcastle Stadium is on Turton Road, near New Lambton and the Broadmeadow sporting precinct. Broadmeadow is the nearest train station, approximately 1.5 kilometres from the Stadium, with connections along the Newcastle, Central Coast and Sydney corridor. Local buses serve Turton Road and Lambton Road, with an onward walk to the Stadium.
If you’re staying nearby or getting the train, consider walking for part or all of your journey using the local footpath network. Allow time for the distance between your chosen stop or station and your Stadium entrance.
Cycling may also suit your trip, but please check your route and bike parking options before setting off.
We recommend public transport, cycling or walking wherever possible. If you’re considering a rideshare, taxi or a lift, event-specific pick-up and drop-off arrangements are still being worked through. Please check the updated guidance before making your plans.

You can start exploring your options now using Transport for NSW. Look at the journey from where you’ll be staying, your onward connection to the Stadium and your trip home. You can also use the journey planner to explore Newcastle and plan how you’ll travel around the city during your visit. The operator’s website provides information about accessible public transport.

Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the match-day excitement at Newcastle Stadium. Arrive early to experience the Fan Plaza and pick up your merchandise, then head through security in good time. You’ll still have time to grab something to eat and drink and be comfortably seated before kick-off.
