The Rugby World Cup is coming to Exeter, and there’s no better place to soak up the atmosphere than the Princesshay Square Fan Zone! Nestled in the heart of the city, this vibrant space offers the perfect setting to celebrate all things rugby in true Devon style.
From thrilling live match screenings to engaging activities for fans of all ages, Princesshay Square will be buzzing with energy as Exeter welcomes the tournament in style. Whether you're a seasoned supporter or just in it for the big moments, join the crowd and experience the excitement together!

🏉 Matchday Activities & Experience
On match days, the main attraction will be the live screening of games, offering fans a vibrant and communal way to enjoy the action. They’ll be deck chairs, bean bags, and picnic benches for 150+.
On non-match days, a variety of free-to-access entertainment will keep the energy high. Highlights include a family-friendly film week in collaboration with Exeter Phoenix (running from 25 to 29 August), interactive gaming events, sports club activations, and even a silent disco!
Local rugby clubs will be invited to attend as special guests, bringing extra colour and local pride to selected fixtures.
🍽️ Food & Drink
Visitors can look forward to a curated street food offering with up to seven vendors, featuring a variety of savoury dishes, sweet treats like churros and brownies, and classic fan-favourites like fudge.
Catering will be managed by The Great British Fudge Company, who will run both the bar and multiple nearby concessions.
The fanzone will also promote takeaway options from local Princesshay restaurants, encouraging a seamless blend between the fan experience and Exeter’s wider food scene.
