Getting to Adelaide Oval

Adelaide Oval sits beside the River Torrens, close to the city centre, with several options for travelling to the Stadium. Adelaide Railway Station is within walking distance, tram stops on King William Road and North Terrace serve the surrounding area, and city bus services provide further connections.

If you’re staying centrally, you can make walking part of your day, with the Riverbank Bridge linking the city centre and railway station to the Oval.

Cycling is another option with bike racks close to the stadium.

We recommend public transport, cycling or walking wherever possible. If you’re considering a rideshare, taxi or a lift, event-specific pick-up and drop-off arrangements are still being worked through. Please check the updated guidance before making your plans.

Accessible Transport

If you need accessible parking, we’re working through the arrangements at the moment and will have more detail to share soon. We’ll also provide further information on accessible arrival options to help you plan a journey that works for you.

Planning Ahead

You can start exploring your options now using Adelaide Metro. Look at the journey from where you’ll be staying, your onward connection to the stadium and your trip home. You can also use the journey planner to explore Adelaide and plan how you’ll travel around the city during your visit. The operator’s website provides information about accessible public transport.

We’re still working through the event travel arrangements, with more detail on this closer to the time. We’ll share updated travel guidance to help you plan your journey there and back, including available services, walking and cycling routes, how to reach your entrance, and accessible travel and arrival information.

Check back early 2027 for further information on event travel details.

Experience more on your match day at Adelaide Oval by arriving early. Enjoy the atmosphere around the Stadium and pick up your merchandise before heading inside. Leave enough time to pass through security, grab something to eat and drink, and be in your seat ready for kick-off.
