Where is Adelaide Oval?
Adelaide Oval is situated right in the heart of the city, framed by the River Torrens and surrounding precinct. Whether you’re travelling by car, bus, train or tram, Adelaide Oval’s close proximity to the CBD makes it easily accessible.
The address is War Memorial Drive, North Adelaide SA 5006.
Does the stadium have a bag policy?
- All bags are subject to security screening on entry. To avoid delays, it’s best to leave large bags at home. Further details on bag limits and bag sizes will be released closer to the tournament.
- Additional security measures may apply and will be communicated closer to tournament time.
Does the stadium have a dress code?
- Premium Experiences guest areas have a dress code minimum of smart casual.
- As a minimum for general public areas, fans must be appropriately clothed for a public place and must wear shoes.

Where can I buy tickets?
- Tickets for Rugby World Cup 2027 can be purchased from tickets.rugbyworldcup.com.
- Fans are reminded to purchase tickets only through official channels. Any tickets obtained via unauthorised or unofficial platforms will be cancelled.
- If you experience any issues with your ticket on event day, please visit the Stadium Ticket Office. Ticket Office staff can only assist with tickets purchased via Men’s Rugby World Cup Official Ticketing Website.
- 1 October 2026 will be your next opportunity to secure tickets for the biggest Men's Rugby World Cup in history, with tickets sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Create your ticketing account now at tickets.rugbyworldcup.com.
- All official tickets for Men's Rugby World Cup 2027 will be digital. More information on how to access and share tickets will be made available closer to the tournament.

❔ At the stadium
Can I smoke or vape inside the stadium?
- Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted in the stadium.
- Fans must exit the stadium if they wish to smoke or vape – this includes e-cigarettes.
- Please ensure you retain your event ticket to scan out of the stadium (adjacent to your entry gate) and then re-enter through the turnstiles.
Does the stadium have free public wi-fi?
Yes, free wi-fi is available at the stadium.
Is first aid available at the stadium?
First aid facilities are located on Level 1, Eastern Grandstand (Bay 10) and Level 1, Western Grandstand (Bay 50).
Please speak to a customer service staff member on the day for assistance locating them.
Are there water refill stations available at the stadium?
Complimentary water stations are available throughout the stadium on all levels.
What if it rains on event day?
- Events will go ahead rain, hail or shine at Adelaide Oval unless fan and player safety is at risk.
- Adelaide Oval is partially covered depending on where your seat is.
- We recommend all fans bring rain ponchos or coats if inclement weather is forecast, no matter where your seats may be.
Can I buy merchandise at the stadium?
Merchandise is available on event days only, at outlets throughout the stadium. Please ask a customer service team member on arrival for your closest outlet. Tournament Programmes will be available at select locations throughout the stadium.
Does the stadium accept cash?
- Adelaide Oval is a cashless stadium. There are no ATMs in the stadium.
- Cash payments are not accepted anywhere within the stadium.
What should I do if I experience anti-social behaviour at an event?
To report bad behaviour during games, text message Adelaide Oval security on 0400 TELL US (0400 835 587) or speak to a customer service staff member or security.
