The FFR has named the group of 32 players to represent France at Women's Rugby World Cup 2025, which gets underway on in England 22 August 2025.
While hosts England and USA will contest the first match, in Sunderland, France get their campaign off and running a day later on 23 August, against Italy in Exeter. They then face two further Pool D matches, first again in Exeter against tournament debutants Brazil on 31 August, and then against South Africa in Northampton on 7 September.
Last time out at Rugby World Cup 2021, played in New Zealand in 2022 because of Covid, France came agonisingly close to reaching the final, losing to eventual champions the Black Ferns 25-24 in their semi-final. They recovered well from the disappointment to beat Canada 36-0 and claim third place.
