Head coach Kevin Rouet (KR): Asia (Hogan-Rochester). For sure.
Fly-half Taylor Perry (TP): Olivia Apps (pictured above) has been highlighted a lot with her game face this week.
If Canada could have a walk-out song on Saturday, what would it be?
KR: It would be Shania Twain.
TP: Definitely anything by Shania Twain.
What three words will be key, if Canada are to win the Rugby World Cup Final?
KR: Believe in ourselves.
TP: Tempo, unpredictability and passion.
Who has the most interesting hobby on the team?
KR: A lot of us play cards, a lot of people who play cards who are also good at it. We face each other a lot. Shoshanna (Seumanutafa) is good at it and Gabrielle (Senft) plays with us. They are both the two challengers against me.
TP: We have a lot of crocheters and a lot of crafters. Paige (Farries) had a crazy hobby, she came from a different sport but I can’t quite remember what it was, but I’ll say her.
Who is your all-time rugby hero?
KR: All time is a bit crazy, but probably Antoine DuPont. I love the way he plays the game.
TP: Karen Paquin because she was one of the first players I actually grew up watching and there wasn’t a lot of rugby to watch when I was younger. But watching her at Rio and now being able to play with her has been just amazing. But she’s in the room and I don’t want her to hear me say that!
If you could meet any celebrity dead or alive who would it be?
KR: I’m not good at celebrities, but Antoine DuPont.
TP: The men’s South Africa head coach, Rassie Erasmus.
What is your all-time favourite sports stadium?
KR: I like Parc de Princes, where they have the soccer playing.
TP: Never played there before but BMO in Toronto.
If you could have an unlimited supply of anything, what would it be?
KR: Time.
TP: Friends.
Which reality TV show would you win?
TP: Don’t we all think we could all win Total Wipeout, surely it’s not that hard right?
