ENTRY TO THE VENUE
On Match Day you can enter through the following gates:
- Gate A: Sections 401 – 407, West Stand GA
- Gate D: Sections 408 – 415, East Stand GA
- Gate E: Sections 317 – 320, 416 – 420, 629 – 636, East Stand GA
- Gate H: Sections 321 – 327. 430 – 434, 637 – 644, West Stand GA
CHECK YOUR TICKET TYPE

If you have a child’s ticket but appear to be over the age of 15, you will be asked for photo ID at the venue.
KIDS ZONE
Keep the whole whānau entertained with a huge range of fun for all ages, including bouncy castle, face painting and trampoline. Join us inside this magical space near Gate A, open throughout the day.
COVID-19 INFORMATION
- If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please stay at home.
- There will be hand sanitizing and hand washing facilities readily available throughout the Stadium.
- Cough and sneeze into your elbow.

Parking
Parking restrictions apply to streets in the immediate area. We encourage the use of public transport.
Complimentary Public Transport
Travel on regular buses, trains and special event buses is included with your match ticket to and from Eden Park. Simply show your ticket to your bus driver or staff present.
We are anticipating large crowds, so we highly recommend you utilise public transport and special event buses to avoid traffic and congestion. Remember to retain your match ticket after the match for the journey home on public transport.
Free bike valet parking is also available at Eden Park near Gate D on Cricket Avenue.

When you get to the venue, ensure you have your officially purchased tickets with barcodes ready to scan. If you have any queries, please go to your nearest box office for further information.
Gate-specific entry applies for this event. Check your ticket for the gate details as entry will only be permitted via the stated gate.
SECURITY CHECKS
Patron and Bag Searches
- Entrance to the venue shall only be authorised upon presentation of a valid ticket and/or accreditation for each individual person.
- All patrons and their possessions may be subject to searches before entering the venue.
- Metal detector wands may be used.
- Searches may also be carried out during an event and when leaving the venue.
- Patrons who refuse to participate in searches may be denied entry to the venue and asked to leave the venue.
- Prohibited items will be confiscated.
CASHLESS VENUE
Eden Park is now fully cashless. Faster, safer and easier this means less time waiting in line and more time enjoying the game. Mastercard is the preferred payment partner of Rugby World Cup 2021.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
On road mobility parking is available on Cricket Avenue from 15:00 for those displaying a current mobility card. The best access is from Dominion Road, into Walters Road, and then left into Cricket Avenue.
Valid Match Day tickets are required to access these parking spaces and entry points.
Wheelchair access to the venue is available at:
- Gate C2: North Stand
- Gate D: Lower East Stand
- Gate E: Lower East Stand & South Stand
FOOD AND DRINKS
You may bring into the venue empty water bottles to fill up at the water fountains in the concourse (no glass) and small amounts of home prepared food for personal consumption.
Food and beverage options are available for purchase inside the venue. Please be advised all bars are cashless (eftpos, credit card, payWave only). You must be over 18 to purchase alcoholic beverages.
SMOKING
This is a smoke free, vape free venue. Patrons are asked to exit the venue to smoke/vape.
PASS OUTS
You can leave the venue and receive a pass out, but you will be subject to the same security checks on the way back in and must hold your Match Day ticket to re-enter.

The following items are prohibited and will not be permitted in the venue:
- Alcohol not purchased at the Venue.
- Animals or pets, with the exception of guide dogs.
- Illicit drugs.
- Drones.
- Prams and strollers.
- Furniture, including but not limited to stools and picnic chairs.
- Gang patches, colours or gang paraphernalia.
- Dangerous weapons, including but not limited to knives, tasers, mace, chains, spurs, studded jewellery.
- Cans (including aerosol cans), glass bottles (including “perfume bottles”), any breakable container.
- Commercially produced takeaway food such as McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, Subway, pizza etc.
- Patrons are welcome to bring small amounts of non-commercially produced food intended for the patron’s personal consumption.
- Photographic, video or audio recording equipment for any purpose other than private non-commercial purposes, which may include, without limitation, video and/or audio recorders, camera tripods, monopods, lenses with a total focal strength of greater than 200mm and commercial digital video equipment. The Security staff will, at their sole discretion, determine whether or not an item is intended for personal or commercial use.
- Selfie sticks.
- Cameras and/or specialised photographic equipment intended for commercial use. The Event Management Staff will, at their sole discretion, determine whether or not an item is intended for personal or commercial use.
- Sound amplifying devices including loudhailers, air horns or similar devices.
- Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters or bikes.
- Backpacks larger than 450mm high x 300mm deep x 300mm wide (approx. A3 size).
- Flares, fireworks, laser pointers.
- Skateboards, roller blades, scooters, or bicycles.
- Musical instruments.
- Signs or banners that are obscene, offensive or abusive.
- Flag poles of more than one metre in length.
- Any other item which the Event Management Staff (at their sole discretion) deems to be a prohibited item which may be a danger, or inconvenience, to any other patron.
Prohibited items will be confiscated and not returned.

- DOWNLOAD IT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE TO AVOID DELAYS
Upon purchasing your ticket, you will receive a text with a link in it to the designated smartphone. Each mobile ticket has a unique barcode. Please ensure you open this link PRIOR to arriving at the venue as this will download the barcode to your phone browser. Ensure you leave the ticket(s) open in your browser or take screenshots. This way, should you have any issues connecting to the web at the venue; your ticket will already be available for access.
- FORWARD YOUR MATES THEIR TICKETS
If you have chosen to get all tickets sent to you, make sure you forward on the individual tickets to your family/friends to make it easy at the gate. They have to have a Smartphone too.
- CHARGE IT AND MAKE IT BRIGHT
Make sure your Smartphone is fully charged before you arrive at the venue. Also, turn up the brightness on your smartphone before you get to the gate. This will help scan you in a lot quicker.

A few Apple Mac users and customers with early versions of Adobe Acrobat have experienced difficulty printing Print At Homes, with ticket information being left off or barcodes printing incomplete.
