York Community Stadium

Capacity: 8,510

A fresh base for a city that has so much to offer. York’s Community Stadium opened in 2020 and has already played host to matches at the 2021 Women’s Rugby League World Cup. And with a pedigree in sporting excellence, it will be an important location across 2025.

Bedded within Yorkshire, the stadium offers more than simply an on-field experience, with murals dedicated to York’s stunning architecture running across the West Stand.

England’s Ellie Kildunne is Yorkshire born and raised, and is just one of many who are counting down the days to welcome the world. “As a Yorkshire girl, I’m looking forward to international rugby coming to the county and helping the game grow in the region.”

A Yorkshire delight that packs a punch, York is a journey through the generations and offers a chance to breathe in English history wherever you turn.
